Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Sarah Cason and I have been teaching Kindergarten for 14 years.  I love watching my Kinders laugh and learn each day!  Education is my passion and my hobby.  When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my family, read, travel, be outdoors, take pictures, and just stay active - running, walking, yoga, anything!  My husband, Chris,  and I have three children of our own and we spend our evenings and weekends running to sporting events and practices and staying busy!  I am grateful for every day of my crazy, busy adventures and my life of being a wife, mom, and a teacher!

Along my educational journey, I was blessed to have many wonderful teachers ~ the first ones being my two inspirational parents.  I still remember the special times from my Kindergarten year.  Although the memories may be few from when I was five, they are meaningful. :)  They leave me with a feeling of happiness.  That is what I want for each child that steps into my classroom.

A child's educational journey begins at home! For this reason, I love connecting with parents in my classroom and building a home-school relationship.  My hope is that I can offer an environment for children where they can make new friends, problem solve, build character, play, write, draw, read, grow, and most importantly - feel loved and SMART! ALL students are smart - just in different ways.  Every student should feel like a SUPER STAR in Kindergarten!  I look forward to working together with families to provide a positive learning environment for young minds to grow!

My goal with the TLC Kindergarten blog is to connect with and learn from other educators!  You all inspire me!  Through blogging and social media, I have bene able to gain so many amazing resources and strategies that I use in my classroom. I look forward to my educational adventure ahead!
